Vice
President
Martin
is responsible for various strategic sales and marketing
initiatives for WideOpenWest's Illinois region. Martin
also serves as the Co-Founder and CEO of MKMB Corporation.
Before becoming an entrepreneur, Martin was the Director
of Economic Development for Chicago United, a not-for-profit
corporate membership organization which focused on economic
development, minority business development and education
reform. Prior to Chicago United, Martin was an Assistant
General Counsel for the Chicago Housing Authority in the
Real Estate and Litigation divisions. In 1995, Martin
served as Deputy Campaign Manager and Field Director in
Jesse Jackson Jr.'s successful bid for the United States
Congress. Martin serves on the boards of WideOpenWest
LLC, the RainbowPUSH Coalition, Michael Reese Hospital
Research and Education Foundation, and the University
of Illinois Black Law Students Association. Martin is
also a member of the Chicago Minority Business Development
Council and the Alliance of Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs.
