Mark Dineen
Senior Vice President & General Manager


Mark Dineen brings to WideOpenWest a 15-year history of professional leadership gained from his several senior management positions within the telecommunications industry. As Senior Vice President and General Manager, Mark will oversee all aspects of the operations for the Michigan market.

Before joining WideOpenWest, Mark was vice president of operations for Cable Michigan, serving 230,000 customers from 1997 to 1999. In this position he was responsible for day-to-day operations, including customer service, installations and repair, marketing, sales, quality control, billing, collections, budgeting, and strategic planning. He has been directly responsible for executing both rebuild and new build business plans, and has demonstrated an ability to motivate excellent customer care and service among the employee groups under his management. He also served as regional system manager, corporate marketing director, and regional marketing manager from 1992 to 1997.

Mark brings proven experience from the traditional and competitive cable communications industry, including Internet. In his role as vice president of operations, he oversaw the acquisition, integration, and operations of two Internet companies servicing over 11,000 dial-up customers. Before joining Cable Michigan, he served as marketing and sales manager for Bresnan Communications, and as regional sales director for Harron Communications.

Mark attended Wayne State University.
