Dave
Haverkate has held numerous senior managerial positions
in food and pharmaceutical manufacturing, as well as positions
in insurance and restaurant management.
Before he joined WideOpenWest, Dave was manager of sterile
pharmaceutical manufacturing for Abbott Laboratories,
where he was directly responsible for a budget of over
$100 million, eleven managers and supervisors, and 140
hourly employees, generating product with a sales value
over $750 million.
He has an extensive background in all areas of operations
management, including quality control, customer service,
human resources, team building, capital investing, inventory
control, and long-range planning. He is a 1981 graduate
of Michigan State University and is a certified facilitator
of DDI Team Building Curriculum.
