Decker

Vice President & Controller
Before
joining WideOpenWest, Jeff Decker served as director of
financial operations for RCN Corporation. In this capacity,
Jeff was responsible for preparation of financial budgets
and forecasts, financial statements, accounts payable
and receivable, and internal controls for numerous subsidiaries
of RCN in multiple states. He began his telecommunications
career in 1985 and has held financial and operational
positions for RCN and its predecessor, C-TEC Cable Systems,
Inc. Jeff was one of the first members of the team that
built the cable operations for C-TEC in the 1980s.
Before serving as director of financial operations, positions
he held at C-TEC included controller, financial and regulatory
manager, and accounting manager. He also served as general
manager for RCN's Lehigh Valley operations, the largest
competitive cable system in the country. Prior to joining
C-TEC, he also worked in public accounting for four years,
performing various financial functions for numerous corporations
and individuals, including managerial services, audit
functions, monthly and annual financial statement preparations,
payroll filings, and tax preparation. A graduate of King's
College, Wilkes-Barre, PA, Jeff has a B.S. in accounting.
